Selank

Selank is a synthetic heptapeptide derived from the endogenous tetrapeptide tuftsin (Thr-Lys-Pro-Arg) extended with a Pro-Gly-Pro C-terminal sequence that enhances proteolytic stability. It is used in neuroscience and immunology research as a tool compound for GABAergic modulation, neurotrophin expression, and cytokine-signaling studies in cellular and preclinical models.
